Old Dirty Sampson

Things were looking nicey, at sunrise... although that orange tinge usually means milks a coming.

other stuff looking good

The morning views were pretty special.
Callum, Ian and Dave (hidden) punching up

Fat Ski enthusiasts
Views from 9100 ft.  Lots of shit got bagged during this last high pressure, by a bunch of different crews.

Dave Treadway drops in, Callum Pettit looking down. There was some exposed glacial ice on the face, so they utilized a rope.. I dropped in just up the ridge on a vert spine wall, snow was ok, and wasn't as bad as it looked
Callum
Callum and Ian Macintosh on the mellow middle
some ice
Extreme alpinist
The mountain gets serious again near the bottom.. We exited lookers left... high traverse out of view
callum... post-shred ponder.

out yonder way

Forecast called for blue, but the old merk-bird flew in . Aussie Aaron, dodges a few slabs on the way down, dreaming of when it looks like this again

D. Ballsac gets in on the merkybird action.  The lower shred was not what we came for, but was fun.

Classic end of day, blue up.
2 days later..
Daryl Treadway, early morning uphill aggro-sled.  A couple trys, and we made it up.
Inversion , made for some swite views.  Forecasted temps was for very warm in the alpine, but it seemed to stay cool.
Daryl gets on the wall, starting to fill in a bit...

Daryl going for more.
 A Plane getting awesome
Another view
We checked out another wall.  Daryl exits the boomerang.
I enjoyed some powder type turns.

Some launch-ables in the area.

Pow-ing

It is a bit deep out there
All pow weapons were utilized
First lap was 1.5 hrs of skinning.. second lap with broken trail, half hour.  Some sled shutttling in there, as well.  Deep!
Dave Treadway front flip to stupid deep pow landing

Chris Ankeny Noboarding.. Sweet no roping!
