... Daryl Treadway and I went out yesterday for a quick morning alpine mission..  There was some good snow, but it is spring out there.  A bit wind slabby, and cornices are hanging very precariously, and in some cases falling off, and making alot of noise when they do.

always glorious , in the morning light
a little hole...

Daryl Treadway.. only action photo, in focus... email me, if you want to see some blurred ones.
Gets full sun, this time of year.. Fun for shred, but it nukes the pow pretty quick.

sun+pow = good times

more gorb-pro action

Day 1... a 5 am start, greeted Daryl and I with milkbird skies.  We waited it out, and luckily it burned off around 9 am.  We tested the waters, and found the snow to be deep and stable.  It felt weird to shred in the sun .      Daryl Treadway photo.
not a bad warm up run.

Cornices have built up, but there are still some sneaky ways in. We sawed one off in the foreground , and did a mini rappel in.    Daryl Treadway photo.
